This place made my day. Incredible value for money. We started with a pasta and afterwards you can choose whatever you like from the buffet. There are many vegetables too choose from and I have never had such tasty artichokes before. Everything was well seasoned and the owners are extremely friendly and joyful.

Some trepidation given they only spoke limited English, and we were turned away the first time due to needing a lunch reservation (oops). You start with pasta, if you want it and then you approach the counter and they will serve you up whatever you request from behind the glass. The food was wonderful, and we were greatly in need of some vegetables after all the pasta we’d eaten during our trip. The young woman also wrote down the names of some of the dishes that we particularly liked. Very memorable meal, and We would love to return. Thank you!

Buffet food and serve of pasta ..excellent choices for good price. 3 people with wine and coffee €40. Clean and very friendly, busy, so be prepared to wait

Sin duda un lugar donde repetir, comida exquisita, excelente, un sabor típico italiano, sin hablar de la calidad y cantidad, insignificante el precio para lo bien que se come. Un 10 de 10 y si hablamos del trato, excepcional Paolo es un gran anfitrión!! Este lugar es recomendable visitar antes de marcharse de esta maravillosa ciudad!!!

Abbiamo scoperto "La Bottega di Paolo" quasi per caso, proprio vicino al centro di Mantova, ed è stata una vera e propria sorpresa! Non è solo un ristorante, è un'esperienza calda e accogliente che ti fa sentire a casa. Il loro punto di forza è la conduzione familiare, un "trio vincente" che copre ben tre generazioni, come i moschettieri del gusto: In Cucina: La signora Nella, la mamma di Paolo, che è l'anima culinaria del locale. In Sala: Paolo, che ti accoglie e ti serve con una gentilezza unica. Al Banco: Beatrice, la figlia di Paolo, che completa la squadra con il suo sorriso. Tutti sono di una gentilezza e disponibilità che rendono l'ambiente davvero accogliente. Il cibo è ottimo (complimenti alla signora Nella!) e l'atmosfera familiare ti avvolge. Un piccolo gioiello da non perdere per chi cerca l'autentica cucina mantovana. Consiglio: Vista la popolarità del posto, è preferibile la prenotazione!
